2008 Rochester Business Ethics Award Winner

rbea_092408The Rochester Business Ethics Award (RBEA) is a regional annual award program that recognizes local companies that exemplify high standards of ethical behavior in their everyday business practices and in response to crises or challenges.

The RBEA is modeled on the National American Business Ethics Award, which was founded in 1994 by the National Society of Financial Service Professionals.

The purpose of the Rochester Area Business Ethics Foundation as set forth in the Section 2 of article 1 of its bylaws, are to:

  • Foster ethical practices within the business community of the Greater Rochester, New York area.
  • Recognize ethical practices in the Rochester Business Marketplace through the Annual Rochester Business Ethics Award.
  • Sponsor scholarships that recognize students who exhibit high ethical standards.
  • Solicit, collect, invest, manage and administer funds and other contributions to the foundation.
