Every year the Rochester Women’s Network honors 5 Up & Coming Businesswomen
from our community for their professional and career leadership potential at the RWN Summit Business Conference. This years conference will be featuring key note speaker Naomi Silver President Rochester Community Baseball, on September 24th. Early in my career I was honored as an Up and Coming Business woman. There is no bigger honor than being recognized among your peers as a success. I have never forgotten how great it felt for my friends to ask me if they could nominate me. Do you know of a woman who has been working in her career for 10 years or less, and is achieving great things? Questions on the application will include, career growth, demonstrated innovative or creative thinking and specific business accomplishments to name a few. To qualify, the honorees will have worked full-time in their current field for fewer than 10 years and successfully demonstrated their professional influence in that field through numerous accomplishments, career growth and advancement, innovative and creative thinking, and initiative at work and in the community.
Nomination rules:
- The deadline for completed nomination forms is Monday, July 15th 2013.
- Forms may be mailed, faxed, e-mailed or delivered to the RWN Office – email address: rwn@rwn.org
- Nominees must have worked full-time for fewer than 10 years in their current field.
In addition, nominations will be considered for individuals who have Owned & Operated their own business for fewer than 10 years.

Nomination forms must be filled out completely in typewritten format. No attachments are allowed and judging will be based on information provided in the spaces below. Any form lacking required information will be disqualified. Name, address, email address and phone number of the person submitting the nomination form must be provided. Self-nominations will not be accepted. Please note: Nominees do not have to be RWN members.
