Have you ever been in a store and received excellent customer service?

Have you ever met with someone and they offered you great advice? You can show your appreciation by sending a small thank you gift to them. Perhaps a current client or business associate refers you to another client. You don’t have to buy them something extravagant, just a small token of your gratitude. Be sure to include a hand written note so they know who it came from.

When you apply for a job or prospect a new client, ever thought of sending a note of thanks? Let them know how much you appreciated them taking time out of their day to speak with you. In a time when we are all trying to stand out, this will surely help.

Often times we attend a seminar and the lecturer is amazing. Do you take the time to let them know this? I encourage you to take a moment and write them a quick note of thanks. Write down a few of the things you learned and how you are going to incorporate them in your business.

As a business owner you can say thank you to your employees when they go above and beyond for you. A lot of companies use the concept of employee of the month to reward their employees. Take a moment to actually say thank you for a job well done and you just may see employee moral rise.

People always like to feel they are appreciated. Perhaps you can thank someone today.
