Midnight Janitorial has been servicing our company since 2006. Before that, we were with a cleaning company that “cut-corners.” Since being with Midnight Janitorial we have noticed a big improvement in the cleaning services; at our own offices and our tenants. In the past we were fielding an average of five complaints per week from our tenants. Nowadays, we hear of issues about once per month and most of those are minor. I can honestly say that Midnight has a trust-worthy and reliable staff. They are quick and on top of issues as they arise. They also have been very accommodating to us and our tenants in going “green” with the products we choose to use. I think Angella & Harry do a great job! They make every one of our tenants feel important and cared for. Overall, we are very pleased and happy we made the change.

First Angella Luyk did a walk through of our space and asked us for our particular issues and concerns. We pointed out some spider webs at the crest of our lobby ceiling and before she left, she went to her car and got equipment to remove the nests! We had reported those areas to the previous cleaners several times and it was truly amazing to see them taken care of before they were even hired!
Angella makes it a point to stop by on weekends to “spot” check on the work being done. She also stops by every couple of months, just to ensure that we are not having any new issues or concerns and verifying services are up to our expectations.

I am writing this letter on behalf of Angella Luyk, CEO of Midnight Janitorial. While they have been cleaning the Pittsford Senior Center for the past three years, I have only known them for the past year. I met Angella when she was filling in for one of her cleaners. I must say, I was impressed to see her cleaning just as her employees do.
She frequently stops in to see how things are going, and if there is anything that can be cleaned better. At one point I mentioned that one of the men’s rooms had an odor to it. Immediately Angella went out and purchased deodorizers, to put in the bathrooms, and she put them in the women’s room.
Angella also took the initiative to place baskets in the bathrooms, when she noticed we kept leaving piles of hand towels on the counter. The problem was that our seniors citizens could not grab the towels and pull down, their arthritis would act up. The important part of this is that Angella could have kept charging us for the paper towels that kept getting wet and had to be thrown away. She is responsible for supplying us with paper products. The more we use, or throw away, the more money she could have made. By placing the baskets on the counter, we no longer waste paper, and in these hard economic times everyone wants to save money.
We’ve used other janitorial services for the past 30 years, but Midnight Janitorial is simply the best. They provide reliable service, deliver what they promise, are responsive to our concerns, and I have the peace-of-mind of knowing that the person who come to my office are honest and serious about the services they perform.
